Booklists/Resource Scheme

A parent or carer is directly responsible for providing their child with textbooks and other resources for a student’s use while attending school.

All classes from Years 1 to 6 are issued with a booklist in term 4 for the following school year.  A book pack may be ordered through Bedrock Books or alternatively parents may purchase the books through local supermarkets and bookshops.

Book packs are delivered to the school in term four if ordered through Bedrock Books.

Student Resource Scheme for Prep Students

At our school we also operate a Student Resource Scheme for our Prep Year.  The purpose of the Student Resource Scheme is to provide parents with a cost effective way of purchasing resources, consumables and other materials, through reduced prices gained from bulk purchasing through the school.

The cost of the Prep Student Resource Scheme is available from the office and allows the classroom teachers to purchase consumable items, pens, art and craft resources to support the Prep play-based curriculum.

A parent who does not wish to join the Prep Student Resource Scheme is responsible for providing the student with the items that would otherwise have been provided to the student by the scheme as detailed on the Prep Requirements List, to enable the student to engage with the curriculum.

Parents experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact the principal to discuss payment or resourcing options that may be available to accommodate their circumstances, including the waiving of a fee, entirely or partly, by the principal.
